  5. Adjournment Debate - an opportunity for backbenchers 
  6. to raise issues of particular concern to them, and receive 
  7. a short reply from the Government. The proposing MP 
  8. is chosen by the Speaker, and the debate is restricted to 
  9. half an hour in length.
